SignupBouncer integrations
Add SignupBouncer to the auth platform you already use, or call it from your own signup code.
Auth platforms
Your auth platform asks SignupBouncer about each new signup before it creates the user.
- Supabase calls our hook before it creates a user. You paste a hook URL and a hook secret into the Supabase dashboard, and you don't change your app's code.
- Ory calls our registration web hook on Ory Network or on self-hosted Ory Kratos. You add the hook in the Ory Console or in
kratos.yml. - Our Better Auth plugin checks email and password signups. You install it from npm or JSR.
- In Keycloak 26, you copy our open-source step's JAR file into Keycloak and add the step to your registration form.
- In Firebase Auth, your blocking function calls us before Firebase creates a user. Blocking functions need Firebase Authentication with Identity Platform.
Your own signup code
Call POST /v1/check in your signup handler before you create the user.
- Our Next.js code is a route handler, or a server action with its form, for the App Router.
- Our Express code is a signup route.
- Our Hono code is a signup route that runs on Node, Deno, Bun and Cloudflare Workers.
- Our Python code is a function for Django, Flask, FastAPI or any other Python backend.
- For any server with fetch, our code is a TypeScript function you copy into your project.
- From any other language, call the REST API yourself. The OpenAPI 3.1 description is at /openapi.json.
AI coding assistants
Your coding assistant can add the SignupBouncer check to your signup code.
- Add our MCP server to the assistant, and it fetches the steps and code for your stack from our docs. The MCP server needs no API key.
