Why was my signup refused?

Some apps check new signups with SignupBouncer. If one refused yours, enter your email address. We tell you what we know about its domain, and how to sign up another way.

Look up your address

We read only the part after the @. We do not store the address or the domain. A hash of your own IP address is kept for up to 24 hours for rate limits. Details.

What the lookup tells you

We say whether the domain is a disposable email domain, a well-known email provider, a domain that cannot receive email, or a domain we know nothing against.

How to sign up another way

  • Sign up with a permanent address, from your own email provider or from work.
  • If you use a VPN, a proxy or a cloud server, turn it off and sign up from your home or mobile connection.
  • If many people on your network signed up at once, try again later.
  • If it still fails, write to the app's support team. Only the app can let you in.

What this page cannot show

This page shows what we know about an email domain on its own. Each app sets its own rules. An app can also look at the network you signed up from and at how many signups came from it. We never show an app's settings or its records of your signup.
